When should I use ELISA and when PCR?
ELISA detects proteins and suits quantitative testing of allergens, mycotoxins and residues. PCR detects DNA and suits pathogens, GMO and species identification. The two methods often complement each other.
Are there rapid tests we can run in the plant?
Yes. RIDA QUICK kits allow fast testing near the production line, for example to verify allergen clean-down or to screen raw materials for mycotoxins.
